The pediatric orthopaedic team under the leadership and direction of fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons will carefully evaluate the child and review the diagnostic imaging studies, such as x-rays and MRIs. All reasonable surgical and non-surgical treatment options available are then reviewed with the patient and/or their parents.

The Center provides services to children throughout the entire Southwest and treats some of the most challenging orthopaedic problems children may face today. Parents can be certain that their children are receiving compassionate, state-of-the-art care by the entire pediatric orthopaedic team.

As a regional center of excellence for pediatric orthopaedics for the southwest United States, the Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics and Scoliosis is committed to clinical research and the education of future physicians, as well as, improvements in patient care and quality assurance. The Banner Institute for Pediatric Orthopaedics Research and Education conducts performance improvement projects and coordinates the research and educational missions, as part of the Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics and Scoliosis.
