Probably no time is more stressful for a family as when a child is injured. The Center for Pediatric Orthopaedics and Scoliosis recognizes that there is a national shortage of pediatric orthopedic surgeons and obtaining an appointment with one of these professionals is often difficult because of the overwhelming number of children who sustain fractures and other traumatic injuries.

While we offer prompt appointments, most fractures are ideally treated 7-10 days after the initial injury to allow the swelling to decrease. This permits us to apply a circumferential cast at the initial office visit rather than making a second appointment to place the cast.

We strive to provide timely appointments in the hope of relieving the anxiety that occurs when your child is injured and the stress associated with trying to obtain an appointment with a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon.

Please contact us for an appointment.
